Book harvest of the year 2007 / 23.12.2007
In this year, we designed many books. The last one is a correspondence between the former president of the Czech Republic Václav Havel and his friend František Janouch during the years 1978—2001. You can see books produced by publishing houses Akropolis, Prague Stage, Casablanca, XYZ, and Sociological Publishing House.
Symbols of the Republic / 27.11.2007
Exhibition catalogs designed by Filip Blažek. Main visual element is the gradient containing Czech national colours. Typography based on geometrical typeface Purista by Suitcase Type Foundry creates a counterpart to heraldic illustrations inside the booklets. Teimer Antiqua used for all texts.
…příští vlna/next wave… Festival / 10.10.2007
Posters of the 14th festival of alternative culture flooded streets of Prague and advertising space in trams. The design is inspired by the aesthetic of commercial flyers distributed by Czech shopping malls to our homes. Bright colors, gradients, shadows and warm sun with rays of bar codes shining on dancers with shopping bags. Designed by Filip Blažek, website

Zeixs Logo & Graphic Design / 25.9.2007
Three works of our designers were published in two books of German publishing house Feierabend Unique Books. Their project
Zeixs consists of four 700 pages books on logotypes, illustration works, graphic design, and typography.

Award Ceremony / 25.4.2007
Publisher Filip Tomáš (Akropolis) thanks for one of the awards he received in the competition The Most Beautiful Czech Books of the Year 2006. The book Czech for Life designed by Filip Blažek was awarded in the schoolbook category (2nd place).

ED Awards / 27.3.2007
Filip Blažek was a member of the ED Awards Jury, a new European graphic design contest. The members of the jury came from eleven European design magazines.
