Noviny pro grafický průmysl / 29.4.2016
Since April, the Newspaper for the Printing Industry has a new layout designed by Eliška Kudrnovská. The publisher asked us to make the newspaper more attractive, well structured, but keep the conservative look preferred by the subscribers. During several months we’ve been testing different layouts, typefaces and typographic solutions. Eventually we decided to employ the combination of Adelle and Adelle Sans fonts by TypeTogether because they look perfect when printed using the inkjet web press. The CMYK colors used are not only reminding of the principles printing press but also of the former logotype of the newspaper. Layout is very modular so the editors can easily combine articles, boxes, infographics and photos.
