At the beginning of November, 2004, the Era publishing house published a book written by Bohuslav Blažek with photographs by Kryšof Blažek, entitled Venkovy: anamnéza, diagnóza, terapie (The country: anamnesis, diagnosis, therapy). The book was generously prepared in a non-standard format of 23 × 28 cm, it contains 105 full-colour photographs, and it is printed on matt coated paper. More about the book is revealed in the text on the back cover: "Social environmentalist Bohuslav Blažek and architect-photographer Kryštof Blažek prove that there is not a single Czech countryside. Anamnesis: fresh images of rural reality from three Czech regions. Diagnosis: hidden context of the Sudetenland phenomenon, to what extent is the everyday rural reality recycled, unknown architectural principles of South Bohemian folk art. Therapy: manual of communication techniques for solutions problems of rural areas."
